Building wealth by providing a solution for others
In 2019, I was sitting in a small cubicle at a security company call center. My job? Answer calls from people who wanted to cancel their memberships — and try to convince them to stay.
I can’t tell you how many times people yelled, cursed, or hung up on me while I was trying to run through my mandatory offers.
Looking back, that job was a blessing.
It taught me communication, sales, and how to overcome objections — skills I never realized would one day become the foundation of my investing career, my relationships, and the life I live today. But at the time, it felt soul-sucking. I stayed there for almost five years.
Then COVID hit.
Overnight, we were sent home. Everything felt uncertain. That was when it clicked:
Even the job that feels “secure” can disappear in a moment.
If everything has risk… why not take a chance on myself?
Not long after, I was at a family gathering complaining about my roommates. My sister-in-law looked at me and said bluntly:
“Why don’t you just buy a house?”
I was 21. Pandemic. Chaos. No savings to brag about.
People my age weren’t buying homes — or so I thought.
But I called her loan officer anyway.
The next day, I sat in his office and found out something shocking:
I was closer than I ever imagined to qualifying for a home.
The timing was crazy. I was literally about to quit my job, and if our conversation had happened just weeks later, I would’ve lost the two-year income history that lenders require. God’s timing is funny like that.
He told me I needed about six more months of income to qualify.
So I locked in, grinded, worked every hour I could, and pushed harder than ever.
The night I finally got pre-approved, I was eating ramen at 12:30 AM when a property notification hit my phone. During the entire six-month search, nothing decent had popped up… but this one looked incredible.
I texted my agent.
At first he said it had sold last week — then immediately messaged me back:
“Wait, never mind. It’s available. Can you meet me there right now?”
We walked through just half the house and I said, “Yep, I’ll take it.”
By 3 AM we were signing paperwork.
Later I learned the previous buyer’s husband had lost his job just before due diligence ended. Sad for them — but also a blessing.
When I moved in, I rented out two spare rooms.
One day I realized: their rent was covering almost my entire mortgage. I was paying maybe $20–$30 out of pocket.
That moment changed everything.
Cash-flow was real. Leverage was real. Passive income was real.
I thought:
What if I could repeat this? What if I could cover my entire monthly income with real estate?
So I saved aggressively, watched my home value grow during COVID, and educated myself like crazy.
I discovered Section 8 rentals — guaranteed rent.
I pulled equity through a HELOC.
I scraped together everything I could and bought my first rentals.
Looking back, I had no idea how risky some of my decisions were… but I took action anyway. I made mistakes. I learned. I adapted.
And that’s the only real difference between you and me:
I’ve just failed more.
Failure is the tuition you pay for success.
Seven years later…
What started as one house and two roommates has turned into a multi-state real estate company specializing in:
Section 8 rentals
Tax auctions
Tax sale surplus recovery
Short sales
Wholesaling
Private lending
Each path came with tens of thousands of dollars in learning lessons — painful lessons I wish someone could’ve guided me through.
After mastering these avenues, my mission changed.
I don’t just want to grow my portfolio.
I want to help you avoid the mistakes, the sleepless nights, the uncertainty I went through. I want to give students the “speed-run” version of real estate — the version I never had but desperately needed.
I believe God gives us blessings not to keep, but to multiply and share.
If you’re willing to take a leap of faith, face failures head-on, and trust the process, you can build a life on your terms — with margin, freedom, and purpose.
And I’d be honored to help guide you there.
If any part of my journey resonates with you — if you’re tired of where you are, hungry for change, or simply ready to take action — I want to personally invite you into something special.
I offer hands-on, step-by-step mentoring across every area of real estate I’ve mastered:
Section 8 investing
Tax auctions
Tax sale surplus recovery
